Project overview
Interior identity walls are judged from two metres away. Every edge, every join and every fixing is inside the visitor's focal range, which changes what the work has to be.
Scope of work
- Reception identity wall
- Bilingual lettering
- Applied graphic elements
- Interior installation
The challenge
What made it difficult
A reception wall carrying a portrait, a bilingual organisational identity and a decorative brand element has three different visual weights competing across one plane. Handled badly, it reads as three separate applications on the same wall.
The concept
How we approached it
Compose the elements on a shared baseline structure with generous negative space between them, so the eye moves through the wall in a set order rather than taking it in as a cluster. The decorative element is pushed to the periphery to frame rather than compete.
The solution
FROM DRAWING
TO HANDOVER.
- 01
Composition
Elements set on a common horizontal axis with deliberate spacing, so the wall reads as a single designed surface rather than an accumulation.
- 02
Finish quality
Applied at interior tolerance — edge quality, alignment and surface flatness detailed for inspection at conversational distance.
- 03
Bilingual setting
Arabic and English organisational names locked to a shared measure so neither dominates the composition.
